Subletting - transfer of the business
Does transfer of the business in tenanted premises to my son during my life come under subletting under West Bengal Premises Tenancy Act?
A.You have to make a separate agreement for subletting your business to your son, since you're transferring your business and not the premises.

A.Dear Client
You are transferring your business and not transferring the tenancy rights or subletting the premises you have taken on rent/lease. For subletting you will have to make a separate agreement of subletting.
