About original papers

I submitted my original documents to lower court during my OS suit, I won this case in 2019..Again this judgement was challenged by my opponent in senior civil court and I won case here also in 2021. Still my lawyer did not applied for return of original documents and he is saying documents are sent to district court and it will some more time to withdraw originals. Now my question is after disposal of case how much time did court takes to return the original documents submitted? Or it is negligence of my lawyer? What should I do if my lawyer do the same negligency?
