Common Area (Corridor) issue Common Area (Corridor) issue

we stay in small apartment (8 flats, 4 floors), side by side flats. our neighbor has kept lot of plants in corridor area which is causing inconvenience to us as 6 feet corridor which is also pathway to my flat has been reduced by nearly 40 % after keeping plants both sides. They say half of the carridor place is belongs to them hence occupied. As it's common area, do i have right to ask them to remove the plants from carridor and keep it clear

A.No sir, you cannot ask them to remove as such legally since it's a common area, but you can request them nicely to empty the space for your convenience

Thank you sir for the response. Sorry Sir for the incomplete query. actual query is One flat owner wants to keep entire corridor area is open so it would be convenient to walk around but other flat owner wants to kept plants in carridor at both sides and it reduced the width of carridor pathway almost to half and it's causing inconvenience. Though other owner has equal share in carridor, do i have right to ask to remove the plants and keep the carridor clear for easy movement.
