Robbery in house- no response from Police Robbery in house- no response from Police

We went to our native to attend a function. The next day night my neighbor called and informed that our flat gate was broken and Jewels were stolen. We immediately travelled back and lodged a complaint. No response from police yet. So, we filed a case to handover the case to CBCID. But the local police denied in court and informed that the investigation in progress. But, to me they told that no evidence so difficult to find. How can I proceed with this? This situation creates huge pressure and stress.

A.Dear client, in my humble suggestion, if the complaint is already lodged and the investigation process is going on, you will have to wait.

Thanks for your response Anik. Its almost an year and no response from Police. Also, their statement in court is different from their reply in person. That's my worry.
