A.Dear Sir,
The following are the two sections before and after the commission of suicide. Abettor may be charged if suicide occurred. If not happened the person who attempt suicide will be booked. If your boy admits that he had committed suicide it is also an offence. However, the Abettor may also be booked under other provisions of IPC but there is no specific provision. I feel such provision is required and you have raised an attractive legal point.
================================================================================
Section 306 in The Indian Penal Code
306. Abetment of suicide.—If any person commits suicide, whoever abets the commission of such suicide, shall be punished with imprisonment of either description for a term which may extend to ten years, and shall also be liable to fine.
==============================================================================
Section 309 in The Indian Penal Code
309. Attempt to commit suicide.—Whoever attempts to commit suicide and does any act towards the commission of such offence, shall he punished with simple imprisonment for a term which may extend to one year 1[or with fine, or with both].

A.Dear Client,
As the family saved or stopped the boy from committing suicide , it is not considered as abetment of suicide.
