Will i get my documents back?

I'm studying in 1 semester bba i want to cancel my admission but my college is asking me to pay 1 year fees to get my original documents what should I do?

Such questions are being asked frequently. The educational institutions not returning the originals on the ground that full fees was not paid by the students who have discontinued their studies. The Hon’ble High Court in many cases held that in such cases the Institution has no right to refuse to return the originals of the candidate it may spoil bright future of the students. The remedy to the Institution is to file suit for recovery of arrears of educational fees. The student may approach High Court on get a direction against the Institution to immediately return original documents.

As per UGC norms college can not kept original documents with them moreover documents are kept for some time for the purpose of authenticity not as a security, So you can write a formal compliant to the UGC regarding this and should go to the UGC fees norms also for more information.
