How many times police sends notice to appear in police station under 41 a crpc?

As per section 41 CrPC Any police officer may without an order from a Magistrate and without a warrant if a person commits cognizable offence. Though there is no specified limit for notice. Once notice is served you need to appear before the said police officer.
