Can my inlaws stop me from residing in the house which i got married if I have filed a complaint under 498A what rights do i have ? How to execute?

A.No, firstly your in-laws cannot stop you from residing in the house which you got married
Secondly, As per IPC, 1860, section 498A states “Whoever, being the husband or the relative of the husband of a woman, subjects such woman to cruelty shall be punishable with imprisonment for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.” In layman language to understand what is 498A, it means any cruelty on a wife by husband and his relative will be punished for a term which may extend to three years and shall also be liable to fine.
