Broker Demanding for high 2% charges but we were not committed for the % charge

One broker accidentally met my mom for showing property and he showed one property, he has not discussed any % brokerage charges before and we purchased that property after registration, he is demanding 2% Brokerage charges and I denied to give them. Now he lodge a complaint at the local police station and threatened to case filing and get a copy of the sale deed from the registration office and threatened to block property in EC itself. He also came with 2-3 people near my home saying Broker Association members to pay the broker fee and using vulgar words. Please guide me .

Such brokerage seems to be not legal and it demands so you may approach the Police and Police may settle the matter.

The guy threatened like IT case and property block in EC is saying he is a broker union leader and lawyer.
