A.Dear Client

You may cancel the FIR by going to the official in charge of the police station where the report was submitted and submitting a written application seeking the cancellation of the FIR. This can be done at any time after the report has been filed. It is possible that in order to support your request for cancellation, you may be required to give any relevant information or papers.

Nevertheless, it is essential to keep in mind that the police officer has the authority to dismiss a FIR at his or her own discretion, and that the decision will also be influenced by the particulars of the incident.
