4 WHEELER INSURANCE COMPULSORY

I booked car with a dealer .
They insisted to take 4 WHEELER insurance from them
But i refused and told them their insurance charges are double the time of actual cost.
Since i refused they have withdrawn the discount earlier offered and ask me to pay the cost.after deleting the insurance amount.
Is it UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES under consumer protection act
A.Of Course the deal may be treated as unfair trade practice.
A customer cannot be influenced or pressurised or insisted to take vehicle insurance against his free will and affordability offering some lucrative trade discount which was arbitrarily withheld on refusal by customer which unfair trade practice against the Dealer.
Post a complaint against the Dealer to the marketing department of the vehicle and file a complaint u/s.35 of CPA, 2019 before the concerned DCDRC for UTP against the Dealer claiming Compensation
