Renewal of Passport

I had an appointment for renewal of passport from Passport Seva Kendra:Begumpet on 18/05/2023. I clear all the round from all the counter with all the necessary document and at the last counter i was told to visit APO Madam and i did visit her and was told to go to Regional Passport Office Hyderabad on next weekend on 22/05/2023 and received an acknowledgement letter saying Documents Verfies with original, however, confirmation from issuing authority is required Subject to Police Verification. My police verification was done on 20/05/2023 by Osmania University Police Station Team at my home. I Visited the Regional Passport Office on 22/05/2023 to know the reason why i need to visit them. I was informed by them that i was born in Nagaland and i need to fill another three form and they will forward the file to Nagaland Police for verification and they said police verification will happen in Nagaland where i do not have any relatives at all. . My concern is i am not a resident of Nagaland and we left Nagaland permanently on 2019 and we do not have any connection out there nor any relatives, My father was an school teacher and retired . Apart from i was born in Nagaland i do not have any connections in Nagaland. Kindly help me out to get the Renewal of passport as its urgent. (Hyderabad, Telangana)
If you want justice you may get the endorsement from passport authorities and approach High Court to avoid police verification in Nagaland.
While you are saying that you were born in Nagaland and permanently left the place in 2019, you and your family stayed there for a long period. So police verification for the said period is essentially required for the processing of the renewal of your passport. So you need to cooperate with the officials involved in the process. For urgent disposal of renewal of passport, you may write to the Secretary to the Ministry of Home, New Delhi or the Public Grievance Cell.
