Tenant and landlord
I have been given a small space by my maternal relative for free to build house and stay as we were poor, i have raised a 200 sq ft chawl type room and was not paying any rent, now the landlord is giving the land for redevlopment, am i eligible for a free house, of the same area or bigger area, or if I have to ask for compensation how much should I demand, and if i fime a case against the landlord who is my maternal brother, what justice will be provided to me
A.Dear client, your case solely depends on whether you have the adequate legal documents(title deeds etc) to justify that you are the rightful owner of the place. If you have all the relevant documents, you can ask for compensation or object to the redevelopment as far as your area is concerned

A.Dear Sir,
First approach Civil Court and file a suit for injunction saying that you have perfected title to 200 square feet by way of oral gift or otherwise by way of adverse possession thus you can put up your claim and at the end it may be ended in compromise.
