i am working in Private company, my salary in above 8 lacks & am OBC, do i fall in NCL catigory as for NCL Salary & agriculter income is not consider?

A.Dear Client,
If the combined annual household income of the individual including private income and his or her dependents is less than Rs. 8 lakh, then the individual is considered to be in the “Non-Creamy Layer Income” category. The income limit is decided on the basis of income earned during three previous financial years preceding the year of appointment. Agriculture or earnings from farming is not included in this limit of income for calculation for creamy layer classification. A person is also eligible for an OBC NCL certificate if the government employs his or her parents in any capacity (for example, in the Group D or Group C categories).

A.Dear client,

You will be eligible for NCL category based on your father's income , ie If your parents' annual income for the last three consecutive years has been below ₹ 8 lakh you can apply for the OBC NCLY category
