Sir I work on contractual basis and my earning in last 3 years is below 24 lakhs. last year my income was 13.5 lakhs. My father is retired government service man. My wife wants to fill a form for government job, will she be eligible for OBC NCL certificate as her father income is below 5 lakhs per annum. She lives with us so, is it possible?

A woman whether married or unmarried, is eligible for OBC NCL category privilege based on her father's status only. Married woman caste is selected from Father's side. OBC is not based on marriage if your wife is born OBC and her father's income is less than the specified limit then she is eligible for OBC NCL certificate and, can apply for Govt jobs from her husband's side.
