Maternity leave & unfair removal Maternity leave & unfair removal

Hi,
I am a teacher with Whitehatjr since Aug 2020, I am reaching out here as I have no other option left!!! I had applied maternity leave from 01/02/2023 to 30/04/2023 which was approved. But apparently in the middle of that I was just removed from the company without any communication from management. I don't know what happened but it seems someone assumed I resigned which I did not!!!I had no access to portal to raise a ticket or had received any mail since March. I have raised messages on Workplace several times but there is no response at all. How can they assume that I resigned when I have never done so? Or if I have been removed from the organization, how can that be done without any communication? I have lost pay for more than a month now because I have not been able to join back. Please help

A.Dear client,
Document the issue: Gather any evidence you have, such as email correspondence, messages on Workplace, and any other communication related to your maternity leave and removal from the company. This documentation can be valuable in supporting your case and proving that you did not resign.

Attempt alternative communication: If you have not received any response through Workplace, consider reaching out to other channels, such as email or phone, to contact the company's HR department or management. Keep a record of all communication attempts, including dates and times.

Seek legal advice: Consult with an employment lawyer who can provide you with guidance based on the specific employment laws and regulations in your jurisdiction. They can help you understand your rights, assess the situation, and advise you on potential legal actions you can take to resolve the issue.

Contact labor authorities: If all attempts to communicate and resolve the issue directly with the company are unsuccessful, you may consider reaching out to labor authorities or relevant government agencies in your jurisdiction. They can provide guidance on how to address the situation and may intervene on your behalf if necessary.
