Driving License Suspended Driving License Suspended

I jumped a red light in CP, Delhi. Traffic police gave me a challan and suspended my driving license, but during suspension i did not have a physical copy, it in mParivahan app so traffic police officer could not take my DL. In challan chit it says my DL will be suspended. My physical DL is in my home and traffic police could not seize my DL. Do i have to do anything?

A.Dear client,
Generally the traffic police suspends DL for 3 months.

To get back your suspended license after 3 months, you will need to:

Pay the fine charged by the court (This can be done online at vcourts).
Visit the traffic office of your city to retrieve your license (you can check the current status of your DL at the official Sarathi website before going to the traffic office).
Be sure to bring a copy of your ID proof along with the challan and receipt of payment from the echallan website. If your license was issued in a different city, you will also need to bring a suspension order from the RTO.
If you have not yet paid the challan, you can do so at the traffic office in your city.
