I purchased a old house 23 yrs back. It has a compound wall. The compound wall of north side laid 5 inch outer side of my measurement. I.e my plot length is 50 feet, the compound wall exists at 55 feet

Myneighbour is also having compound wall adjecent to my wall.
i demolished it for erecting new compound wall on the same place.
Shall i erect new compound wall at same place or inside to my boundry

A.Dear Client,
Based on your information, you should errect your new compound wall inside to your plot of original plot length of 50 feet, otherwise it may be disputed in future either by your neighbour or the Civic Authority.
