I had booked an rera approved appt in 2020, building committed to handover on Mar'23 and delayed by 2 months. After i moved here I came to know there is no individual current facility. Due to which there is current fluctuations which is damaging the electronic item. Pls suggest how can I take it up.

A.Dear Client,
When you bought a RERA approved flat from a Developer and after taking possession you are facing an electricity problem causing damage to electrical appliances that prove a deficiency in service on the part of the Developer/Builder who is solely responsible in the absence of a housing society for careless maintenance of a supply of electricity connection in the Housing Complex. So, in the prevailing situation, you need to file a complaint against the Builder/Developer for deficiency in service before the RERA along with other resident owners who are facing similar problems claiming compensation against damage/injury caused due to deficiency. You may contact the office of the RERA to know over phone whether the complaint can be filed online otherwise you have to file an offline complaint.
