Correction of date of birth

I have filed a OS in Gauribidabur JMFC court of Chikkaballapur district for Date of birth declaration as 22/03/1988
on the basis of entry made in birth certificate. Because Date of birth is wrongly entered as 10/04/1987 in SSLC marks card. I have joined govt of Karnataka job on 31/08/2017. I made a request for correction of date of birth in SR book on 01/09/2019. As per govt of Karnataka employees age of determination act 1974 DoB correction can be made within 3 years from date of joining.but JMFC court dismissed my case as barred under above mentioned act.
