OBC NCL Certificates

I have applied for issuance of OBC - NCL Certificate in October, but did not got in time. I again applied and finally got in April. I had to fill form of ESE. I used old OBC of 2017 and now i have qualified Mains and now have document verification. Is my new OBC certificate valid for the post. Since it is now newer than given date in notification.

Your new OBC NCL Certificate is valid for document verification for UPSC ESE, if the verification of the document is carried out within the validity period of the OBC Certificate that remains valid for one year from the date of issue.

A.Dear client,
For UPSC CSE if you are under the Non Creamy Layer, then you are eligible to avail of the benefit of reservation. The certificate is valid for one year. So it is better to have new OBC certificate.
