How to remove name from a defendant from a civil suit in punjab

A civil recovery suit was filed against my mother,and in it including myself and younger brother along with my mother were made party as defended. Even though me & brother have nothing to do with the case, just to put unnecessary pressure they filed that way. So is there a way to remove both of our name from the case or not.
