Regarding obc ncl certificate
Sir I was born and brought up in west bengal and did my schooling from bengal. I'm a native of Bihar as my father was born there and has his caste certificate from bihar. Recently I got my central caste certificate from bihar. Is it ok that my domicile is of different state and my caste certificate is of different state? Will it be acceptable in neet counseling?
A.Dear Client,
The caste certificate issued by any State is valid across the country for reservation benefits of the Central and State governments, subject to eligibility. The caste certificate of one state and domicile of another state for government examinations is not valid because the list of Castes is state-specific. Domicile and caste certificates are two different things. A caste certificate can be issued where your ancestral residing permanently and domicile by choice gives you the liberty to opt for one domicile certificate of one State. The Supreme Court ruled out that a person issued a caste certificate in one state cannot claim the benefit of his status for employment, education or land allotment in any other state on migration. However, you can bring the issue to the notice of NEET Authority beforehand and if they allow, you can file an affidavit stating the status of the caste certificate before the Authority. Else, you face the consequences at the time of your counseling.

A.Dear Client,
The acceptability of your domicile and caste certificate from different states for NEET counseling can depend on the specific rules and regulations set by the counseling authorities. NEET counseling is typically conducted at the state level, and the eligibility criteria for state quota seats, including domicile and caste certificate requirements, can vary from one state to another.
Here are some general points to consider:
Domicile Requirement: In most states, candidates are required to fulfill the domicile or residency requirement of the respective state to be eligible for state quota seats. Domicile requirements may include a certain period of residency or other specific criteria. Since you mentioned being born and brought up in West Bengal, you may need to check whether you meet the domicile requirements of the state where you are seeking admission.
Caste Certificate: The caste certificate's acceptability is usually based on the issuing authority and its recognition by the state government. If you have obtained a central caste certificate from Bihar, it may be accepted in some states, but it's essential to verify whether the state where you are applying recognizes and accepts caste certificates issued by other states. Some states may have specific requirements for caste certificates issued outside of their jurisdiction.
State Counseling Authority: To get accurate information on your eligibility for NEET counseling in a specific state, it is advisable to contact the state's counseling authority responsible for medical admissions. They can provide you with the most up-to-date and relevant information regarding domicile and caste certificate requirements for that state.
Legal Consultation: If you encounter difficulties with your eligibility due to the domicile or caste certificate issue, you may want to consult with a legal expert who specializes in educational and admission matters. They can provide guidance on potential legal remedies or actions you can take.
Ultimately, the acceptability of your domicile and caste certificate will depend on the specific rules and policies of the state where you are seeking admission. It's essential to research the eligibility criteria of the state you are interested in, reach out to the counseling authorities for clarification, and, if necessary, consult with a legal expert to address any eligibility concerns.
Thank youu.
