My father passed away in a road accident in 2012 and the amount has been awarded in 2021 it's been two years and unable to get it.The amount has been deposited in court's account. How long will it take for the amount to be transferred to my account and is there possibilities to take lumpsum amount or annuity scheme is only allowed?

A.Dear Client,
In compliance of the protocols or formalities as per the direction given by the Supreme Court in W.P(Civil) No.534 0f 2020 dated 16/11/2021, you can apply to the concerned Court along with all the required documents for disbursement of the awarded amount of compensation to the legal heirs of the deceased victim of a motor accident. Reach out to an Advocate with a copy of the Order passed by the Tribunal for further guidance and steps.

A.Dear Sir,
You have to fulfill the formalities of the court and get the amount. In the final order the mode of payment will be found. You may clarify the same by reading last portion of the judgment.
