Caste clarification
I belong to the Pardhi caste which belongs to the Schedule tribe. From the very beginning, we migrated to Telangana we were known to be ST. But, now when I see we are in the BC A category. Could you confirm when did the change of caste category happen.
A.Dear
Changes in caste categories or classifications are typically determined by government policies and can vary over time and across regions. To understand when and why the change in your caste category from Schedule Tribe (ST) to Backward Class (BC A) happened in Telangana, you may need to refer to official government records, historical documents, or local authorities who have access to such information.
Here are steps you can take to find out more about this change:
Check Official Notifications: Look for official government notifications or orders that specify changes in caste classifications. These notifications are usually published by the state government and may provide insights into when and why such changes occurred.
Contact Local Authorities: Reach out to local government offices or revenue authorities in Telangana. They may have historical records and information regarding caste categories in the region. They can guide you on the process for verifying or understanding the changes.
Consult Community Leaders: Community leaders and elders from your Pardhi community may have knowledge about the historical evolution of caste categories in your region. They can provide insights based on their experience and interactions with government authorities.
