A.Dear Client,
The Cyber Security Information Sharing Act, 2015, was enacted to enable government entities to share cyber threat information with private sectors. In addition, this act would also facilitate the private sector’s sharing of information with federal bodies. Sharing of information between private-private and private-government helps block cyber threats before they lead to cascading damages. Information sharing means early warning and expert advice. The National Cyber Security Policy notified in 2013, also underlined the need for such information sharing. Indian Banks Center for Analysis of Risks and Threats (IB-CART) is the first such center set up at IDRBT, Hyderabad. Cyber threat information sharing would be voluntary and it should be used only for the purpose of cyber defense. In case the sharing of CSR copy of the online complaint of a Cyber scam to an accused in any way affects the investigation of cybercrime, the sharing of CSR may not be allowed by the investigating agency. However, the accused may apply for a copy of CSR of the online complaint, and based on the purpose and merit of the application, and the volume of security threat involved in the disclosure of the information, the authority may allow the request of the accused applicant. So, the matter depends on the sole discretion of the investigating authority.

A.Dear Client,
In cases of cybercrime, it's essential to follow legal procedures. Typically, a copy of the online complaint (CSR - Cyber Security Report) may be part of the investigation process, but its distribution to the accused might depend on specific legal jurisdictions and procedures. Consult with law enforcement or legal experts in your jurisdiction to understand the proper protocols and whether such documents can be shared with the accused during an investigation.
