A.Dear sir
It is a worst case wherein such in ordinate delay may not be condoned. Hire a reputed lawyer and see that delay is not condoned.

A.Dear Client,

The acceptance of an appeal after a significant delay is at the discretion of the court, and it typically involves the court considering the reasons provided for the delay. In your case, the opponent has filed an appeal against your acquittal in May 2022 and is seeking condonation of the delay.

The court will assess the reasons presented for the delay and determine whether they are valid and sufficient. Factors such as the nature of the case, the reasons for the delay, and any prejudice caused by the delay will be taken into account.

If the court finds the reasons satisfactory, it may grant condonation of delay, and the appeal will proceed to be heard on its merits. If not, the court may reject the appeal on the grounds of delay.

It's essential to consult with a legal professional who can review the specifics of your case, including the grounds for delay provided by the opponent, and provide advice tailored to your situation. Legal procedures and outcomes can vary, so seeking professional guidance is recommended.
