Validity of Power Of Attorney
My Uncle got a general power of attorney by a husband -wife after paying full amount of a land of their land. Husband Died first, will it make power of attorney cancelled?
A.Dear Client,
Upon the death of one of the two joint executors of a Power of Attorney, its enforceability ceases. A Power of Attorney (POA) is active during the individual's lifetime and terminates upon their death. Revocation of a POA is possible as long as the principal is mentally sound, and it automatically cancels if the principal or executor passes away.

A.Dear Client,
Yes, on the death of one out of two joint executors of Power of Attorney, its enforceability gets seized. A POA is effective while the individual is alive and expires upon his death. A POA can be revoked as long as the principal is mentally sound, and it gets cancelled automatically if the principal/executor passes away.
