A.Dear Client,

If the matter remains unresolved despite attempts at mutual resolution, and if you possess substantial evidence to support your claim, you can file a complaint at the local police station against the perpetrator under Section 376 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for rape and Section 354 of the IPC for outraging the modesty of a woman. Both offenses are cognizable and non-bailable. Seeking guidance from a legal advocate is advisable to navigate the process effectively. Additionally, you can lodge a complaint online with the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), State Human Rights Commission, National Commission for Women (NCW), and State Commission for Women (SCW) for further investigation. Seeking assistance from NGOs dedicated to aiding women in distress can also be beneficial.
