Theft of bike

IPC 1860 sec 379/411
My bike has been stolen from my office parking. I lodge a complaint in d nearest police station. After one week they recover my bike with number changed. The police has kept my bike original RC in the file. Now after 7 years still I am not be able to get my RC. Plz advice.

A.Why wait for 7 Years , you should have approached a Lawyer to help you out. The Expert Lawyer will file a sukitanama and claim the vehicle from the police custody doing all the formalities as required under the law. You should provide all the required document.

A.File a Superdari application for releasing of the said property i.e. R.C. if the F.I.R or the GR Case is pending and if it's disposed of ( case is closed) file the CRLMP in the High Court for the same.

A.File a CRLMP petition in the High Court stating the inaction of police. And by the direction of the Hon'ble High Court, you can get your bike and RC soon.
