Steps for the tenant

Sir, Kindly let me know what are the practical steps to be followed by the landlord for the tenant to move into the rented space? When to take security deposit? When to take 1st-month rent? When to give the key? if the tenant asks for a rent-free period what to do?

A.Usually security deposit is taken at the beginning and thereafter the keys are given to the for possession.
As for the rent of the first month, the same is decided vide your rent agreement.
The provision of rent free period shall also be mentioned in your rent agreement.
