Wife leaves house with jewellery Wife leaves house with jewellery

Married since 6 years, wife leaves home over a quarrel talking along jewellery and other belongings. DV u/s 12 is filed thereafter alleging all jewellery was kept by husband. Should any steps be taken other than filing a DV reply? Should the jewellery aspect be reported to the police station separately? Will I be liable to pay back the amount in lieu of jewellery purely on wifes false allegations? Please guide.

A.You have to first file Reply to DV case. Then you have to prove that she has taken the jewellery with her. Simultaneously you can file case for Divorce, if you don’t want to live with her or for Restitution of Conjugal Rights if you want to have her back home.
