How long time taken in criminal case related to posco act in court

A.Dear Sir,
It depends upon the volume of work and co-operation by the prosecutor and concerned police in getting witnesses. Trial Court will take minimum 1 to 3 years.

A.Dear Sir,

The criminal case pertaining to POCSO Act can take anywhere between 6 months to 2 years and 6 months, depending upon the dates given by the court, presence of witnesses, complainant, Investigating officer.

It can even go exceed 3 years if there are relatively large number or persons involved for leading witnesses during trial.

The time period mentioned above is from the point of filing charge sheet.

A.No definite time frame. It depends on several factors including Court workload, appearance and documents of evidence and witnesses etc
