My friend has taken loan for a cooperative society bank and he is unable to pay back money of 2.5 lakhs as he had taken it for medical purpose for his father and his father passed away an year back.
Later 6 months back he had a heart attack and his medical condition is not good. Now he has hot several of his cheque bounced due to no balance in his account. We have documentation to proove it.
Now we have got a notice from the bank stating if i dont repay the money in 12 days the money will be doubled and criminal action will be taken against him. Actually the loan is in his windowed mothers name who is a house wife.
He is in need of help. Please let me know wt we can do now as it is not possible to arrange money

A.Dear Sir,
No criminal case can be filed unless you have issued a cheque. Let them go to Civil Court where you can get sufficient time to repay the amount in installments.
