A. Hi,
We will be happy to assist you with this. The costs would depend on the individual lawyer's rates. You will need to take passport photos, the marriage certificate and proof of residence, income and identification. The Court gives the couple six months to reconsider once the application is first brought before it.

icon My father in law family and my wife not showing my daughter

Hello All, Due to misunderstanding my wife took my daughter and eloped my house without telling me. After visiting my father in law house they are not speaking and not allowing me to speak to my kid.

A. Hi,
You can file a petition for restitution of conjugal rights. You have a right to see you wife and daughter, this petition will allow the Court to grant an order declaring that right. You can try arbitration or mediation to resolve the issue with your father in law and then go for marriage counselling with your wife.

icon Maintenance

I am a working mother, with a 9 years old son. My husband is jobless for the past 4 years and never contributes a penny towards the family expenses. I take care of all his expenses. Can I file a case

A. You can not file the maintenance case in Dubai if you are staying with him in Dubai. Either you come to India and file the maintenance case from here or file in Dubai itself. Frankly speaking, it would be better to have the complete details about the facts of your case than only it will be possible for any advocate to give the proper advice.

You can approach a lawyer over the phone, email, Whatsapp for more details.
