Divorce & false 498A

i have filled divorce against my wife in Nov'2020 & also i had submitted an information letter to police station stating all facts & figures as i was having fear that she might put up false allegations. But my wife has raised an FIR of 498A against me & my family in Jan 2021. How is it possible? still we have given our statements & its almost more than one month I haven't heard anything from police. is it possible that they can put false statement in front of honorable court. What to do now?

A.As per the guidelines issued by the Hon'ble Apex Court police has to follow a certain procedure in 498A cases. You should meet with an advocate with all your case details so that proper action can be taken against your wife for filing the false case. Consult with an advocate immediately.

A.Hi,
If the allegation is untrue, you can make an application to the High Court to quash the case under S.482 CrPC. She can be punished for the same under S.209 IPC.
