A. what police can do ?
nobody can force anybody to live with someone,not even supreme court.
they not stay in his house and left you.
so you have house to stay.
for other financial spends, you can file maintenance case and ask for interim maintenance in it.
you can also send restitution of conjugal rights to husband to come back.

The Indian Judiciary have espoused a very strict mode to deal with such type of complaints of offences and deterrence has been also used by the Indian Judiciary to punish the convicts and to control such crime.
Moreover, only justified delay in filing of cases is accepted by the court.

You should submit the proper documents and evidences to prove your innocence. However, if both the courts have conflicting view, the judgement of the judge having higher hierarchy would prevail, but, you may than also approach the Higher Court.
