According to the Payment of Gratuity Act, of 1972, only if you work for 5 years or more can you get a gratuity. However, if you worked continuously for 240 days in the fifth year, you should be able to be get gratuity.

Yes you are enough eligible for the same.
The retrenchment compensation will be 15 days of last drawn salary multiplied with number of years of service completed in the company. The Honorable Supreme Court of India held that retrenchment compensation is intended to give relief for sudden and unexpected elimination of employment.

It is mandatory to complete the time period of 5 years consecutively in a company without a gap to receive gratuity from a company. You have not completed the said , so you are not eligible for the said.
