icon Stamp duty

In a leave and license deed the registration is the responsibility of the landord or tenant and what is the the stamp duty for a deed of five years in Delhi and who pays it?

A. Generally the burden to pay the stamp duty is upon the tenant and it is he who has to get such a deed registered at his own cost.
Stamp Duty varies from state to state and the same can be checked according to the Stamp Duty Act and Rules.

icon Land acquition

My mother in law signed the documents of land to her brother.its been 7 years before.now we are in financial problem and have no money to solve it.my question is can we have rights to put case on aski

A. Sir, you can contest by saying that your mothers signature was forged or was taken without her free consent by way of force or mistake or anything. You can always file a civil suit and try the same. However it depends upon how well does your lawyer put forward your case.
Thanks.
