I have a new tenant in my premise?Will i have to handover the keys to tenant or the tenant will add a new lock on his own?What is the general step during rent agreement?

A. Dear Sourav,
No issue , your interest may be places in agreement ,either of the point of key and lock, it can be urs or the tentang. No issue. State a clause of such , or generally tenant use his own lock and key bcz, you have tenancy period and denewale time period, so no issue.

A. It is more stronger document than agreement executed in front of Public Notary.

There is no prescribed format but you have to get registered if it is for more than 11 months otherwise get rent agreement on a stamp paper of Rs. 200/-.
