Claim for Ancestral property
My father had adopted to one family and got their property. But he has transfered ancestral aggri land to his bilogical brothers name, can i claim now? Its 40 years back deal when i was not born

A. Hi,
You cannot claim the agricultural land back. It is advisable for you to refrain from issuing any legal notice taking any steps to avoid any legal proceeding against you.

As per the latest judgement of the Supreme Court, daughters have an equal right in ancestral property. You can file a claim for your share in the property and also raise an issue in regard that no consent was taken from you while dividing the property.
