That is the law of the land. There is no difference between rich son and poor son. During the lifetime of your parents you should have asked your parents to file maintenance petition under Section 125 of Cr.P.C and to claim huge maintenance from his rich son. Now you cannot do anything.

If the other legal heirs like to offer you their NOC for waiving their rights to the property, they may do the same. All of them are able to grant you Power of Attorney through an advocate, which will enable you to sell and transfer the property without having to send anybody else on a trip. Hope this helps.

If the will has named that you all will get the property then that is your right. But you cannot have the property of the co-owner as after his death, his legal heirs will get the same. In the absence of any legal heirs, will class 2 heirs get the property.
