Refund from builder Refund from builder

My friend was helping me to buy a flat.. He told me the flat cost was 35 lakh rupees.
At that time I had 24 lakhs.. He told me transfer that directly to flat owners account.
Later I faced some financial trouble due to which I old my friend that I cannot go ahead with this. He said he will speak to flat owner and get my money back. The flat owner was a family friend of my friend.. He did not register any agreement with me or signed any papers saying he will do it after I pay the full amount.. Now both the friend and flat owner are not returning my calls.
My question is - can I file a lawsuit against the flat owner for illegally sitting on my money. If this goes to court will the court ask this flat owner that on what basis is he keeping my 24 lakhs.... I have bank statement and passbook as proof of fund transfer.

A.Hello Client,
You can either send a legal notice through an advocate and sue them to file an FIR. Hope this helps.

It is nothing but a cheating case. u may get registered FIR against both of them or get issued a legal notice and file a suit for recovery of your money.
