My Brother who doesn't taken care of parents and doing job sicne his graduation and now he is retired govt officer,came only to their funeral asking ancestrol property.He is become rich. And not even giving one penny to funeral. Where I a daily wage worker struging for my life and family survival. Does he get share from ancestrol property of 4acres. Can law help his brother to pretend this?

A.Dear Sir,
That is the law of the land. There is no difference between rich son and poor son. During the lifetime of your parents you should have asked your parents to file maintenance petition under Section 125 of Cr.P.C and to claim huge maintenance from his rich son. Now you cannot do anything.

A.Hi client,

Only the deceased people had the right to declare that particular person will get the right of the property or not. When they have died leaving behind all of you, and also not making any will or any declaration of such, your brother has the right to the property.
