Agricultural land destruction Agricultural land destruction

A neighboring person to our farm has put some poles in our share of agricultural land and then excavated heavy amount of fertile soil from that portion and put it in his area.

This has caused a massive damage to our farmland and also we are now unable to take any crop in the total area (including the damaged area).

Also he is causing a lot of nuisance to us.

What actions and under which IPC codes we can claim a compensation and punishment to him? What a will be the punishment? How much compensation will be decided?

A.Hello Client,
You can file a case under section 405 (mischief) and Sections 441 to 460 (criminal trespass) under IPC. Compensation for the same will decided based on your loss.
