I am a divorcee since july, 2018. HighCourt has given my son custody to my ex-wife. At the time of divorce age of my son is 6years. The custody of my daughter is with me having age 14 years. My ex-wife got married again. My question is that, Whether it is possible to change the name of the father from birth certificate?

A.No. The name of the father cannot be changed in the birth certificate.
however, the name can be changed on the school certificates or other ID documents but that too would involve your consent and a suit in the court.
