I bought a property in Kerala an individual house of (35lkh). I started processing the loan assuming i will be able to go to kerala for Registration. My loan will be approved in a week and they are expecting me to be physically present for registration. Considering the current situation with COVID and me being in RED ZONE in Bangalore i am not allowed to go. Is there any way i can get this done? either by providing power of attorney to my mother or getting the house registered in her name. Please advice me with an option B which could help me get through this

A.1) Yes, you can do the registration in your mother's name but also remember if you have more brothers and sisters then automatically their legal rights will come on this property as the owner will be your mother and not you...
2) Instead I suggest that keeping the norms of social distancing you may travel to Kerala after 10 to 15 days for registration of the same in your own name that will be better like it NO invites of other legal liabilities in future.
