I purchased a Top floor flat, without terrace, due to rain the leakage has been started in all Bedrooms, Living Room, Gallery & Kitchen as well, I discussed the same with the Owner of the Terrace, He simply denied & asking me to talk to builder. It's more that 2 Years, I am living in my own house.

A.Hi, Send legal notice to the person from whom you purchased the flat and then file the case with the help of your lawyer.

A.GIVE NOTICE TO BUILDER AND IF HE DOES NOT LISTEN GO TO CONSUMER COURT AND BEFORE THAT GET IT MEND FROM MESSON OR CONTRACTOR BUT TAKE BILLS . BETTER YOU CONTACT LAWYER FOR THE PURPOSE

A.Hi you can raise this issue with your society if any else you just send notice to builder and all the person concerned with this and in case of not set right by them subsequently you file consumer case where you will get relief along with compensation for damage .

A.Legally the owner is liable to ensure that terrace water doesnot trouble you. Ask him politely to do that else file a case under law of torts to get it done through the court order and get some compensation too. You must look for a good torts lawyer
