Action on not refunding the deposit amount

I had given 1L deposit to my landlord. Now I am about to vacating the house, but he seems having lot of excuses to return the deposit amount. This already bound by the rental agreement. Please suggest various steps to counter this legally.

A.Hi,
As per the facts, you must try to send the legal notice with priority to the landlord demanding the return of deposit

As per the Written Agreement your owner had received Rs.1 LAKH from you, it is his duty to pay the advance amount once you are vacating the house, issue a legal notice then file a case in the court to recover the amounts
