Our housing society in Ahmedabad is charging 50 % higher maintenance amount from the rented flats With respect to the flats occupied by owners.
Is it legally correct for the society to charge extra /sqm maintenance From rented apartments.
If not what are the legal options? Any legal document which given some clarity on this.

A.Hello,
It is not legal to charge higher maintenance from tenants. Therefore, you should first contact with your society and if they don't agree you should send them a legal notice
